Swatches: Butter London

I have the last four Butter London polishes for you. I think I put up on the blogs facebook page that I was doing this like last week and everything else happened. Anyways I finally got it done, so lets get into it.

First let me say that this is not a product review as much as it is just me telling you about the individual swatches. Reason being, I think we all know how I feel about Butter London. I really want to like this brand but it is kind of hard for me to work the short brush and for that reason alone, I don't use Butter London polishes.

Ok, on to the swatches:

All Hail The Queen, is a holo nude. It went on very sheer, in my opinion. I ended up applying three coats of polish and you could still see through my free edges which I didn't like. It is definitely a color I don't have in my collection, I am not 100% sure it will remain in the collection. I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. It is not something I HAVE to have in my collection.

Wallis is a metallic olive with what looks to be tiny black specks. I dont like this one at all! It applied nicely in the norm two coats, but I was not crazy about this color. There is nothing in my collection like this for a reason.

Pillar Box Red is a true red color. I could have stopped at just one coat with this one, but I decided to apply a second one. Again, went on nicely. I have developed a fondness to red polishes, it just that there was nothing special about this one. I dont think I have a regular creme red, so I may hang on to this one.

Lastly I have West End Wonderland. This is a gold glitter polish with tiny red specks in it. It is kind of like NOPI Disco Dolls, but not as dark. I liked this one and ended up keeping it on and painting the other hand. I did apply two coats which is still a little sheer for me, but being that it is glitter and a dense glitter I wasnt going three coats.

So that is it! These were the last Butter London polishes I had to swatch. Butter London polishes retail at $14 each and can be purchased directly from the Butter London website, ULTA and of course the newly launched shopping site Coterie.

**Polishes were gifted to me for announcing the launched of Coterie, I am in no way affiliated with Butter London or Coterie.**
