Swatches: Duri Swatches
These four colors were put together to form a collection inspired by the upcoming movie The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Check out the press release.
The collection, like Lisabeth Salander’s style, is dark, edgy and beautiful. And I have the swatches here!
The polishes are $5 each for a .5 oz bottle and they are B3 free. Now the swatches.
This is Fallen Angel. Originally from the 2010-2011 Fall/Winter Angels and Demons Collection. This is a deep plum with just a hint of a shimmer. It looks a lot lighter on the photo. This is two coats, no top coat.
Up next is Dragontini. This is a lighter crème purple. It is opaque, you could get by with just one coat. This however, is two coats no top.
This is Black Diamond. A beautiful black with a hint of a silver shimmer. What I like is that it is not messing like some black polishes. This is two coats, no top.
Last but not least is Angels and Demons. This is also originally from the Angels and Demons Collection. It is a grey with such a silver shimmer that it becomes a silver shimmer. This is two coats, no top.
Overall, I really like this “collection”. The colors are very edgy. I like the darkness of the names. The brushes are small, not tiny, but they hold a good amount of polish on them. The polish is smooth and it goes on great. There is no overwhelming smell of nail polish. The shine is crazy before you even apply a top coat. My favorite from this collection would have to be Fallen Angel. I love the color. It is a beautiful plum. The most unique to my collection would probably be Angels and Demons and maybe Dragontini, I don’t think I have a purple that color, Im not sure.
