Swatches: Tuff Scent Laughter
Good afternoon polish fanatics. Yesterday I got in the mail a polish from a brand some of you may not know a lot about, and until last week while reading my Nail Pro mag, I didn’t know about. It is a brand called Tuff Scent. What this company does is they infuse a scent with their polishes which is then released as the polish dries. Now, I cant lie, I do like the smell of certain polishes, I just cant vibe the strong smells.
The polish I got is called Laughter and is suppose to give a blackberry smell. I received my package pretty fast. Within a couple of days or so it was here. I got the polish of course and a print out (if you will) of the collections and their scents. My polish is from the Fire collection.
The bottle is different from any bottle I have. I think that’s another fun part as far as collecting polishes, the different bottles and tops the companies come up with. I am also posting pics of the bottle and cap so you guys can see it. The cap is in the shape of a rose. Which made it a little hard at first to really get the hang of using it. The brush is long and skinny which may throw some people off if a wider brush is something they’re used too, however the formula is so great that it works really good.
Here are the pics. I used two coats.
Ok, this was in the sunlight. Laughter is a deep berry/wine color. I picked this one because fall is fast approaching and this is a great fall color. Like I said, the formula is great, it applies very smoothly. There’s not a big shimmer, but there is a small shimmer. I love this color. Does it smell like blackberries? Yes it does! The scent releases as the polish dries and last up to 24 hours! So I was happy about that.
So, I was telling you about the packaging. Here are some photos of the bottle.
I also wanted to show you the top and the brush. At first the combo kind of threw me. It’s a little hard at first to hold the brush using such a small cap, but you get use to it pretty fast.
All and all, I like this polish a lot. I like that it is infused with such pleasant scents. I love the formula. It doesn’t say either way if the polish is B3 Free or not. They do offer some very pretty colors. It made it kind of hard for me to pick a color. The colors are beautiful and I am very happy with the color I picked. Price wise, the are $14 each. You get .50 oz. US shipping is free. So that kind of makes it a little better as far as ordering goes, since they are kind of pricey.
The Tuff Scent polishes can be purchased directly from the site which is www.tuffscent.com.
